The Difference is in the “E”

I have to admit that I totally forgot that there were two different ways to spell the word stationary — yep, that’s right.
Stationary means to be still
Stationery is what you write on.
Then, that got me thinking… and for now the only other words I can think that are similar to this are principle/principal
Principle is like a rule, or code of conduct.
Principal is the head of a school.
I’m sure there are many others, and this isn’t the most gramatically correct posts… the weird things we writers learn!
I agree to be stationary means well it depends on how well you write and the main focus as well.
